A few years ago, we built an e-commerce site on Shopify, called PetForest, and thought people would come, but nobody came. It was a dropship model pet store with a ton of products that we didn't own or brand. We learned an important lesson from that experience... a brand is everything. We went back to the drawing board after our first attempt but it took some time to formulate. Over time, it became more and more clear, we wanted to connect your experiences with the outdoors and your dog and be part of that moment making memories that will last a lifetime. That's how Rocky Mountain Dog was born. But it all started with Butch, without him none of this would have happened, he's the inspiration and face of the brand.
